With a bright polished chrome finish frame, the Zelda has 5 attractive clear glass shades with a rippled surface held on outwardly curving arms, each with an additional echoing arm attached, giving a scribble effect. This flush ceiling light has a low profile, so is suitable for low ceiling heights.

Die Lampe kommt gut verpackt und geschtzt beim Empfnger an.Produziert ist die Lampe sehr einfach made in China und mit billigem Material. Dementsprechend sehr leicht, da nur Plastik.Der Durchmesser betrgt gute 28 cm. Mit im Lieferumfang enthalten sind die Schrauben und Dbel zur Befestigung.Die Lampe ist ein Teil, also Lampenschirm und der hintere Teil sind nicht trennbar, auch sind die LED Lichter fest installiert und nicht wechselbar. Die Brenndauer betrgt allerdings 15.000 Stunden, was lt. Hersteller guten 15 Jahren Nutzungsdauer entspricht. Danach kann man einen Lampe dann auch mal getrost in den Mll werfen.Das Licht ist warm wei und brennt mit 6 W.Der Melder reagiert bei einem maximalen Abstand von 5 Metern. Das Licht brennt dann ungefhr fr eine halbe Minute, plus minus.Die Brenndauer ist vorgegeben und kann nicht verndert werden.Sollte die Lampe tatschlich 15 Jahre in der Benutzung sein und nicht vorher kaputtgehen, dann finde ich die Lampe und auch den Preis vollkommen ok. Sie erfllt ihren Zweck und macht nicht viele Kosten.4 Sterne fr eine sehr einfache Lampe.

This is an excellent sensor light. It is very sensitive to any movement. The only downside is that all the instructions are in German, however the diagrams were very clear and no problem was experienced in connecting the fitting.

Im a big fan of the whole Philips Hue thing, and have it set up all through my house, but many people are put off by the need to have a hub plugged into your router which uses up a power point and needs to be next to your router as well. All of this adds up to more cables in your house and can make things look untidy, and its a fair amount of money to spend on something you might not use.This bluetooth based version gets rid of the hub by connecting via bluetooth instead of your home network, which simplifies things and reduces the price. Set up is very easy, just screw in the bulbs and fire up the bluetooth app which is free to download. Once youve done that, you have full control over the bulbs from your phone. You can dim them, turn them on and off, change colour, and so on. You can also connect Alexa to them, so that it can be voice operated. This sounds like a gimmick until youve tried it, as the convenience of entering a dark room with your hands full and just asking for the lights to come on is awesome. Or youre sitting down to watch a movie and realise youve left the lights on full beam just after you get comfy say the word, and theyll dim down to whatever you like.The bluetooth connection though, while convenient and easy to set up, does have some limitations which youll probably find frustrating eventually. Firstly, because its bluetooth, it only works if your phone is in the same room as the lights. Similarly, any Alexas Alexi you have also need to be in the same room. This undoes lots of the usefulness of Hue, in that you cant turn lights on and off when youre away from home, or even if youre in another room. You cant set up programs like the lights coming on at certain times or in response to certain events. lights on slowly at sunset, for example. If you find yourself really using the features of these bulbs, youll almost certainly want to get a hub.If you dont really use them though, well, youve not spent much money to find out Hue isnt for you, so this is a good way to try them out.As for the bulbs themselves, theyre nice bright LED bulbs, so you can reasonably expect them to last for a good few years. They are bright enough to use in the kitchen. Light colour you can of course choose youself via the app, but they can go from a quite harsh blue to a golden yellow. You can mix and match the tones between each bulb to suit your likes.Im pleased with them very much, but Im quite sold on the whole Hue thing.
