I had some problems getting this item, but eventually received it and it was well packed and protected. The bowl itself is a lovely colour a little rough in construction, as it was very prickly on the outside. I notice the price has gone up but I think what I paid for it was an honest price for what it was, a very pretty colourful lamp to give light in a hall or window. As with all colour lamps it gives a nice glow.

I bought this to go on my computer desk. Its good value for money unlike some reviewers I didnt have any trouble putting it together though I did have to scrape the lead clean of paper debris. My only gripe is that its not very tall so needs to be placed closeby or stand on a higher shelf. With the light angled upwards its a bit blinding nice bright light.

It sits behind my L shaped sofa in the the corner, it just gave the subtle lighting that was need in a dark corner. You would hardly notice it and what I wanted.
