Easy to install, just take your time and enjoy it.Existing wiring in my ceiling was the usual mess, so i decided to use a 4piece terminal block and add a length of 3 core to push through the ceiling. Glad i did as it gets very crowded inside the fan assembly.One niggle is that the instructions only tell you towards the very end that you will have to insert the remote control receiver into the only space there is…but i had used this space for my 3core. Would have been a complete nightmare if i had retained the old wiring.Second little niggle is that the finish is especially vulnerable to tiny scratches, particularly the silver fan blades. I took my time and wasnt slapdash but still managed to put small scratches on it. Maybe Im just a clutzThe spots are fantastic as you can light the dark corners easily, so much better than the usual solitary bright light in the center of the room which doesnt illuminate evenly throughout the room dont need auxiliary lighting now. Great to choose your colour temperature too, not limited to preinstalled LEDs.The remote looks like its from a 40 yearold VCR, just a bit clunky looking.All in all, a nice piece of kit

The other reviews already attest to what a great value this product is. Inexpensive, effective and longlasting.What Id like to mention is the customer service at Mr Beams is topnotch as well.I have an MB980, which has been working like a champ for a couple of years. After returning from vacation, I noticed a minor problem with the light.I wrote to customer service and within hours, Karen arranged for a completely new one sent to be sent to me.All companies should have this kind of customer service. Comme dhabitude Philips signe ici un bon produit, certes perfectible mais trs sympa sur bien des points.Si lampoule na une puissance norme est ne peut ce substituer un clairage principal, quoi que , en tout cas au niveau dco cest ultra chouette.Pouvoir commander lampoule via lapplication installe son smartphone cest carrment gniale.Selon votre mood vous faites varier la couleur de lampoule et les combinaisons sont nombreuses.En revanche pas moyen de la commander distance pour simuler une prsence dans la maison, dommage.Je vous recommande ces ampoules Philips si vous souhaitez sortir de la lumire jaunes ou blanche froide habituelles pour des teintes qui accompagneront parfaitement vos soires dtentes.
