I put it on my front porch so there would be a motion activated light when the electric light was not on. This light is nice and bright. Now I rarely use the electric light. I live MI and it has worked good all winter with temps dropping below 0 degrees.

I have placed this on the ceiling of a closet. The light opens when it detects motion of the opening door, and turns off automatically. Whats nice is that it doesnt turn on if its already bright.
