This is a desklamp with a superstrong, foamlined metal clip which holds the lamp secure and isnt going to be knocked out of position easily.Build quality is good from the metal clip to its bendy gooseneck 39cm approx and 8.5cm diameter circular lamp head. Unlike many lamps which have just a flimsy plastic infill, this has a metal head with what appears to be an opaque resin or plastic lamp infill giving good eye protection so you can glance towards it without getting purple spots in front of the eyes or a nasty headache.There are 10 light levels and through this range, the colour temperature tone can be adjusted from a yellowish warm white, to a blueish cool white or a very pleasant daylight which I find especially good for reading and close work and this is ideal also for crafts.The lamp is versatile, can be used in any room throughout the home as a reading lamp, craftworking lamp or for DIY. Outdoors or away from home it can be powered by a USB power bank The head is especially flexible and can direct light to exactly where it is needed and remains cools in use. It is powered via an included mainsUSB adapter which bears a CE stamp, although it doesnt match that on the box which is clearly a Chinese Export stamp rather than a genuine European CE marking so I cannot confirm its authenticity. The lamp works well, the plug doesnt become hot in use and I am happily using it as a bedside lamp and on my office desk when additional illumination is needed.Recommended.

This product wont long last as its glass cover is very wobbly. This can fall anytime from the stand cause an injury if you have small kid or pets. Safety is lacking and I do not recommend this product if you welcome kids in your home.
