IF you find the battery not lasting very long you can easily replace it with a rechargeable AA battery of your own remove 4 screws from the box with a better mAh rating provided is only 600. That said, the solar panel may not be enough to charge it in which case.. well you can still just swap it out whenever it dies DThe lights will only come on when there is not enough light reaching the solar panel so cover it with your hand to test that they are working before nightfall.

These solar lights are great. So bright and fun. There are 8 different settings if you like to change the lighting effect. Ive kept mine on constant. They charge up effectively over the day and last way into the evening. I have bought a string for a gift. Only down side is the brown cardboard box they came in isnt very attractive to give as a present. But it is sturdy and functional.

Love these lights, wanted something that would add something to the garden when we sit out in the evening and they also add a little light rather than our bright security light that attracts all the bugs. They look lovely in the hedge during the day rather than just plain bulbs. They came with a spike to secure the solar panel for charging to the ground but also a wall mounting bracket which I have secured to the garage.
