Description
The SOPHIE wall light is a playful take on Victorian hunting trophies and curiosity shops. The elegant giraffe is realistically sculptured to scale and finished in gold-effect paint with a dark wash to bring out the intricate details. Supplied complete with a natural linen shade. Works excellently with any jungle themed decor or just as a fun and quirky addition to any room. A matching zebra wall light, ABBY is also available.

I have 5 of these sensors around the house and for me they turn the hue bulbs from a gimmick to a credible home automation solution. Using the hue app to turn lights on or off is OK but its more of just a clever invention. I tried my bulbs with routine timers but found if someone turned the light switch onoff it would result in the routine being interrupted. With the hue sensors it really does automate things, I would recommend programming them within the hue labs section as it goes into greater programming detail. The sensors themselves are well built and they have a strong magnet, so can be attached to anything metal or even steel corners under plaster or a simple screw in a wall or ceiling. They also contain a thermometer so you can see the temperature in the hue labs section. Lots of other things I could mention but all in all a great product. I will soon be trying out the outdoor version.

Ps. flash, io ci ho montato unSB800 ok

I bought this kit about 12 months ago its now late June 2020 priced at approx. AUD43.00. For that price the kit was OK, but it is very lightweight and flimsily made. I decided to write this review as I just noticed this kit had almost doubled in price to approx AUD80.00 including a slight discount and wanted to share my thoughts on the value. If you want a quick assessment, overall, this kit is good for students or hobbyists looking to light small projectswork areas if you can get it for about the AUD40 mark like I did the build quality of this kit is not worth paying any more than that. For those looking for more detailed context, please read on Im using these suspended from a ceiling rail over my hobby workbench, using some smallrig clamps and adjustable arms, so I dont use the tripod feet supplied with this kit for the lights themselves. I use these lights for photographing my modellingmaker projects, as well as my workspace during constructionpainting etc. The lights illuminate my workspace OK I also have a small desk lamp as well, the extendable tripod stands are just supercheap selfie sticks that use friction to lock in length when twisted very adjustable. Im a lighthanded person that is very careful when handling tools and gear I feel like I will crush these sticks and lights every time I handle them If youre heavy handed Id probably recommend looking for a more robust product. I have been using the tripod feet to mount my gopro cameras to when I need a low angle on my bench the tripod feet wont handle much more weight than that they hold up the weight of the lights OK though. Due to the light weight of the units lights and polestripod feet combined, they can easily fall over from the weight of the usb cable if you have the cable elevated too high over its length e.g. plugging into a benchhigh powerpoint and moving the stand away as far as you can so the cable is horizontal try and keep the light close to the power point its plugged into, so the cable hangs downwards. The thin plastic covering over the powerdimmer buttons started to crack after being switched on about 20 times it hasnt flaked off completely yet though. They have been good for a budget, entry levelstopgap solution at the original price, but Ill upgrade to larger, more robust units when I can.
