Great halogen replacement. Have several fittings which I am gradually replacing with led bulbs and these are some of the best. Good quality of light, come on instantly and dont get anywhere near as hot as halogen. Even where the fittings are exposed glass the light leakage around the back of the bulbs is a pleasant purple glow. To date none of the GU10 Philips bulbs I have fitted have failed unlike their halogen counterparts.
