These are part of my project to install solar lighting in our garden, ready for long summer nights spent outside as much as possible.Ive been looking out for various types of lights some to go in trees bushes, some to run along fences, and some to light up paths and walkways and picking up sets of solar lights I think look good and are good value.This set of bulb lights were for decorating one of our small trees shrub my wifes the gardener, I just decorate. These were easy to get up and running. I left them in direct sunlight, for a day, to make sure that were charged up and then wrapped them around various branches in the tree.As there are a lot of plants and bushes on the ground below the tree, the solar panel wouldnt get any light as it would nearly always be in shadow, but the panel can also be attached to a wall fence so Ive done this and the lights charge well and stay on into the night.I think they look good see pictures, and were pleased with them. Now, roll on summer

These lights a really small but give a surprising amount of light. The remote control is typical for the type of remote you usually get with small LED lights, its functional and does the job.The lights take 3 x AA batteries, which are not included and they are housed in a very well sealed unit, which is where the waterproofing comes in as a lot of lights claim to be waterproof but the actual battery compartment has no water sealing on it. The unit is well constructed and sealed, I have no problem leaving them outside. However I think the lights are a bit small for many tasks outside but they look amazing around the home.The waterproofing will also be useful around Christmas to place the lights on the outside of a window frame or in a conservatory that has a lot of condensation. It is also interesting that you can see the little circuit board in the unit as it is see through with a slight frosting.The lights are controlled by the remote control which enables you to pick many different modes from static colours to the lights flashing. The response time from the remote is excellent and there is also a little timer mode which puts the lights on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. It is a really useful feature when the lights are outside, you dont have to keep switching them on or off.The build quality is good and the lights are bright and portable, I would definitely recommend as long as you aware that they are really small.Pros Responsive remote Lots of modes Timer function Really good led lights Waterproof and portableCons Quite small
