We have a large dome shelter covering most of our patio, which is great for providing shade from the summer sun and also providing protection from the rain. These lights have been added to the underside of the dome to provide some additional garden lighting.I like that these are battery powered, this has advantages over the two alternatives. Solar lights generally have a limited light up time depending on the amount of sunlight they receive and also require the panel to be sited in a sunny spot with minimal shade. The other alternative, mains powered requires a cable running from inside, not practical in this or many other situations.These are the thin copper wire type of lights, so easily wound around anything and they stay in place in a decent breeze. The battery box takes three AA batteries and has a sturdy seal so should protect the electronics from the elements well.There are a range of colour and lighting options, we prefer the gently changing colour cycle rather than a fixed colour or anything more abrupt. It looks great during the evening and a single set of 100 bulbs covers half of our dome. We have it on for a couple of hours at a time and so far the rechargeable batteries havent needed replacing.

Easy to set up and easy to control, these look lovely strung up. A very nice effect can be had with these. The different options via the remote control make them fun to use and perfect for themed parties where a certain colour is wanted. Very pleased with these.
