Item came through packaged well and protected as per Radiant Roosts high levels.I have installed this along with 2 x Corsair Ll120 fans with a mind to install further fans and a AIO by corsair later.Do I need this product No not yet but I might, but the level of customisation this gives you along with the Icue software is amazing. Both for brightness of RGB and control of fan speeds is brilliant.Cannot fault this item at all, it stuck really well in my case out of sight and will be a great addition to my lighting set up as I expand it.

Ive been using Hue lights for a year or two now. The addition of this sensor has greatly improved our use of some features. It took moments to set the device up by simply removing the plastic battery tag and then adding the device to my Hue account and tell it what lights to control. That probably only took a couple of minutes or so. Once youre up and running, it pays to tweak the sensor settings over a few days to get it optimal for you.You can adjust both the sensitivity to movement and ambient light in the app. You can then configure what light or lights or scene to turn on as a result, along with being able to set a different profile for different time of day. Ive used the sensor to turn on a light fully in the evening if there is movement, and to dim and then turn off if there is no movement after say 10 minutes. The other schedule, on detecting movement will turn on lights dimmed late at night, to avoid blinding you if you get up in the night.The sensor itself is smaller than I thought it would be 55mm x 55mm, and comes with a small magnetic mount that also allows the position to be adjusted slightly to cover the optimal direction. All in all, a very useful addition to the lighting setup.
