We own two Lifemax floor standing versions of this lamp and because my girlfriend is doing a photographic degree we needed to upgrade our study desklamp to a near daylight quality one for viewing photographs.The lamp arrived well packed with no self assembly required at all it was ready to use out of the box, so, presumably, it represents an updated version to that some of the other reviewers refer to on this page, although, it is still designated as Model 250.2. The lamp is well made and the heavy base ensures it is stable in use the neck is totally flexible and can accommodate being set to most angles and staying in position. The onoff switch is conveniently situated on the underside of the lamphead rather than inline on the power cord. In terms of light output yes, this light really does make a difference to reading and its near daylight output ensures optimum constrast without glare. The wide lamp head spreads the light evenly over just the right area for reading or viewing photographs. The low consumption bulb is easily replaceable and reasonably priced, although, I think unless you are unlucky it will last years. The overall build quality is very good. There are other Serious reading lamps you can buy but they cost significantly more, and, we do actually own one of those premium lights too for bedtime reading there is no real difference in features and performanceexcept that there is a dimmer option and the Lightmax wins hands down for value. Overall, this is a good value, well made product that will make reading easier and last years into the bargain. Very hard to fault and the floor standing version is equally good too. Recommended.

Wenn es um Leuchten mit integrierten Bewegungsmelder geht, kaufe ich seit Jahren nur noch SteinelProdukte, da ich von der Technik und Qualitt nie, wirklich nie enttuscht wurde. Diese Lampe zeichnet sich durch ein sehr helles Licht aus, der verbaute Bewegungssensor funktioniert auch durch Tren und Scheiben.Etwas berraschend war fr mich, das zum Einstellen der gewnschten Empfindlichkeit, Leuchtdauer und Erfassungsradius nur mit einem Schraubendreher mglich ist und die Steuscheibe nur aus Kunststoff ist, das passt aus meiner Sicht nicht zu einer SteinelLeuchte.
