Had one set, then added a second. Some reviewers commented on flicker. I found that if I plugged them into a powerhub connected to my laptop, they flickered. So I grabbed an old powered hub, did NOT connect it to the laptop, just used it like a power strip for the LED lights, and no flicker. If you move them around, and upside down, the plastic falls out. A little masking tape fixed that. The screw thread is really great for versatility. I grabbed a small piece of scrap wood, drilled a 14 inch hole, then used a 14 screw to connect. Then spring clamps allowed me to place lights where I needed them. I also had an old piece of thin plywood, so I made a little platform extending perpendicular to the case. I slid this under books on my shelf, and I have a secure place for the lights. If you dont have scrap wood and a drill, ask neighbors if anyone nearby does woodworking. We all have lots of scraps and happy to drill a hole for a neighbor. Plenty of screws available at your local hardware store for under a buck.

These are the best of the inexpensive LED panels I have tried. They are bright, but others are bright enough. Two things make these superior. First, they dim nicely and the control is on the cord, not the back of the unit. All LED lights seem to need diffusion even if it is just throwing a white handkerchief over it which can cover up controls on the back.Second, the lights and stands have tripod mount 14 20 threads in places where you need them. This makes it easy to mount them, even on a cold shoe. Watch out for other lights with stands that are nonstandard.I use the pair, one on each side of my monitor, a real camera which I already owned with a usb capture device, OBS and a green screen for my video Client conferencing and hearings. It looks terrific and was not that expensive. Do be sure you plug them into a quality power supply. The 2 amps isnt just a suggestion. I had a little iPhonesized wall wart unbranded, not from Apple Literally smoked and died powering one of these lights. The Sony charger for my camera had no trouble. I wish these lights came with a power supply, because you do not want to plug them into your computer.

I am so happy I ordered this Often, I have early morning meetings where I have no or low natural light. The room light is behind me which makes my face on the screen very dark. Even with natural light, when I turn this on, the face looks better. Also, I would strongly recommend, whatever option you chose, get two lights the light is much more natural if it comes from both left and right I put it on stands at left and right of my screen.WHAT I LIKED The white filter makes the light smooth, so it does not disturb you. All other options I tried had too disturbing light hitting my eyes. The intensity controls. No need for too bright light always. Different levels fit to different needs I am using it on lower levels for videoconferences, but it seems to me strong levels are great for taking portrait photos. Two stands delivered are practical and make the whole package very much worth the cost. The stands are compatible with GoPro gear So, with this purchase you are enriching your GoPro options. USB power. No need for batteries.WHAT CAN BE BETTER small things, nothing really important Tripod looks quite lose. Too easily slips down. But, if you do not touch it, its fine once you set it up, why would you touch it, anyway. To provide some clip or other solution for those who want to attach it directly to the screen may be a good idea.

I have been researching lighting for my classroom for a while and saw a teacher who taught with these lights on YouTube, so I took the plunge and purchased them. I teach online every night. Some people think theyre small and I guess if you consider standing with them, they might be, but the light you get from them is so good Ive even taught with just one when I dont teach at home just a very slight difference. I have the two of them propped on both sides of my laptop to teach and the lighting is fantastic You can attach them to different heights on the tripod and selfie stick attachment. I love that I can dim them when my eyes get tired. I do wish however they had their own plugs, I am going to buy a two plug so I can connect both to the wall without wasting an outlet.

These lights are extremely bright Perfect for those webcam meetings at home. I have one placed on both sides of my desk and Wallah you can see me. Glad I purchased these I was reluctant at first after reading some of the reviews but Im Glad I did. The only thing id change is where the power switch is located. Its to close to the ground so youll need to always bend over or crawl under or behind wherever you place them to turn them on. But I suggest getting a outlet that has a remote so you sit at your desk and just press a button and they come on. Other than that, these are perfect. I participate in a lot of zoom meetings and this definitely is ample enough light, almost blinding.

I use this for lighting for meetings and game streaming. The adjustable brightness is perfect both for a bright room during a sunny day and a dark room in the evening. The adjustable stands are great and allow a wide range of heights and angles. The colored filters were not useful to me, but I do wish it had come with a light amber one just to warm up the color a little. The unfiltered color is very cold. I ended up putting a photography gel on them to warm up the color a bit, but that was pretty minor.

This is an initial review, meaning that these are my thoughts on the product after only a few days.If anything happens within the next few weeks to couple of months, I will update my review to reflect things. So far so good, they seem to get plenty bright and light my face quite well.In regards to the brightness, they offer 10 levels of brightness. When turned on, you can turn the brightness up and down in increments of 10 each with the lowest level of brightness being 10 and the highest being 100 making for 10 levels of brightness. When it comes to quality of the materials, I had thought about giving three stars, but decided that for the price that wasnt fair so I am giving four stars instead.Everything is plastic, so dont expect anything super high quality, but as far as plastic goes, its more than acceptable material quality. The only metal component is the piece that connects the LED panel to the stand and the other connector at the top of the stand.Im not sure what other people were complaining about in regards to them not being balanced when fully extended, but perhaps they were not standing them up properly or on a level surface, fully extended they stand up fine for me.However, the entire thing isnt all that heavy, so its possible that if the environment you plan to put them in isnt all that stable with wind blowing, sloped surfaces, or moving surfaces, then they most likely will fall over and I would highly suggest rigging something of your own design to grab hold of the base, and weigh it down if you plan to use them in a non stable environment. In regards to versatility I am rating them at 4 stars, they arent the most versatile, but they offer enough range of tilt and swivel based on the two connector pieces that you can have them shining at almost any angle, the only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 in this aspect is due to their maximum height not being the tallest, and also because of what I mentioned above about the overall weight of the product.Laslty, I would highly suggest you head the specifications of the product when they state that these panels require 5v and 2.0A through USB.Connecting them to lower voltage, and lower amperage USB ports may result in the product not working right.Connecting them to USB that supplies more voltage andor amperage than what they require that is cheaply made and does not properly downstep the voltage and amperage and thusly properly regulate the power output to only be what the device is asking for, will most likely result in you burning them out and destroying them.So I would highly recommend that whatever USB ports you plan to plug them into, you make sure that they supply at least 5v and 2.0A and that if they supply more, that they are properly built to downstep to only provide what is being asked of it by the device.I personally am plugging them into a 2 port USB wall adapter that supplies up to 5v and 2.1A but that I know is quality built and will downstep itself to only provide what is being asked of it by a device that requires less than what it can supply. If interested in what USB wall adapter I use, it is the Ailkin brand here on Radiant Roost, and it is a 3 pack for 11.As for the filters you get the followingTwo of each, one for each panel.Red, Blue, Yellow, and White. The red, blue, and yellow filters are thin and mostly transparent, allowing for light to pass through easily while coloring the light. The white however is thicker plastic that is softened white and used as a diffusion layer to diffuse the light coming out of the panel. While the white diffusion panel is in place, there is only enough room for you to slide a single colored filter in front of it, so this means that if you wanted to double up on a single color, or mix two or all three of the colors together on the light, you would have to remove the diffusion panel from the light, but that is OK because once you have more than one colored layer installed it ends up diffusing the light source by just enough that its not super harsh on the subject you are lighting. So to summarizeThey are bright.Overall decently built for the price, but fairly light weight. You get two of them for such a low price. They are powered off of USB, making them more versatile since you can plug them into the USB ports on a PC, or can plug them into a 2 port USB wall adapter like me, making them not have to take up two power outlets with fatter brick connectors or anything like that.So all in all I give these a 5 star rating for what youre getting and for the price, and I would highly recommend these for the entry level budget photographer if they need something quick and cheap to use, but mostly for anyone whos on a tight budget that wants to have good lighting for either live streaming, or making YouTube videos. As stated at the beginning, this is an initial review, and if anything happens within the next few weeks to couple of months, I will update this review. Thanks for reading.UPDATEIts been 7 months and they still work perfectly fine, granted, they never move or get unplugged from where Ive had them at my desk so theres no wear and tear from moving them around.
