I bought these as a cheap option to do my gaming stream on Twitch and it works perfectly. I mean my lighting set up now looks super great with just 2 lights. In addition I can see how useful these can be for my other video and photo projects. I tested them out on my mobile battery pack as well and they run just fine This gives some really great mobility if you dont have a plug on a wall option. The colored sheets have a protective plastic covering on them as well which you can leave on or just remove like I did. So far so great with this product and I highly recommend them.

Youre spending 30something dollars for two lights… so as long as you know what youre getting, you shouldnt be disappointed.The lights are small, but pump out plenty of light. Speaking of which, the only adjustment is in terms of brightness, so dont expect something that is going to offer any sort of color temperature adjustment. I do like that they retain their brightness setting when you turn them off and on though.If I could change ANYTHING about them, Id make the cords longer. I have USB outlets pretty much everywhere, so it wasnt a problem, but if youre super strict about cable management, you might want to get a USB extension cord or something.Overall, Im really happy with my purchase, and I was thinking about grabbing a couple more of these for photographing small objects.The stands theyre on do their job. Theyre not super heavy duty, so dont expect them to stay up if youre banging around your desk or there are high winds around you for some reason. 8 Month Update Both lights have started to randomly flicker. I have no idea whats causing this. Still, theyre quite inexpensive, so Im not going to remove a star or anything and will likely just buy another set when these totally crap out.The length of the cords continues to be an issue, and the placement of the switch on the cord isnt ideal. Im likely going to cut the cords and try to lengthen them and move the switch, so its more easily accessible.

I got a set of these lights to equip my wifes zoom workstation and they have turned out to be fantastic. I power them off of a couple of USB ports on a second monitor. It is very convenient to adjust the light level. I did not think that the included gel filters would be useful, but I have used them a lot, and currently have one red gel half inserted on only one side to give exactly the color balance I wanted. I just ordered a second set for my primary workstation where I will mount them permanently on either side of my secondary monitors.

I purchased this pair of lights as a replacement for a pair of Emart lights that look almost the same in the listing. There is a BIG difference though. These Neewer lights are far more versatile. Rather than just a short tabletop tripod, they come with a extendable hand stick with an attachable tripod and gymbal. The most useful aspect though is the built in dimmer that remembers your light setting when turned off.All that being said there are a couple caveats. The power cord is a USB type A. Dont try plugging them into your computer though because at full brightness they draw 2 amps, four times what a USB 2.0 port can put out. I would recommend getting a pair of USB wall supplies that can supply 2 amps readily available on Radiant RoostThe other minor gripe I have is the filters red, blue, and yellow. Unless youre lighting an toy display the colors are not what you need. To light up a persons face you should use an amber filter, preferably a bastard amber one also available on Radiant Roost though the white unfiltered light will work somewhat.Overall I have to say these lights are well worth the money. Only time will tell about their longevity.

These lights are fantastic Thats what my daughter in law told me after I gave these to her. I had put together a little gift pack of classroom stuff for her and this was one of the items included. Shes a high school video production teacher and shes teaching from home due to COVID. She is super impressed with these lights and thats a lot coming from herHer comments were as followsMuch better to have LED. Less over heating.Great sturdy set up.Super bright lights.Perfect for video production. Especially green screen.Love the dimable function.Using them everyday.

Theyre okay.Its bright and does the job l, however, they are a bit flimsy. Also, I have yet to figure out how to keep them extended.Oh, before you purchase this, be sure to check the specifications. These are small table top lights 43 size.

These are great lights, they are bright and clean and I like how they can be adjusted. The gels are ok, but really too dense to light a subject, might be useful for coloring a background. I used them to light my office for live streaming an online class and discussion group and also for teleconferences. This would work great in small scale and is really built for use on a desk.The materials are super cheap and flimsy though, the tripods are really just cheap and flimsy, but you get what you pay for there.Overall a great product, great value, just be sure to take care of them.As a bonus, I just leave them on my desk and they are great for adding extra light if you need it while you work.
