I bought these because Ive been doing more and more online meetings 2020 but my home office is super dark. These have worked out perfectly for what Ive needed. Ive found that because of how close they are to my face, theyre a bit too harsh of light sometimes turning down the brightness is fine but sometimes the light starts to flicker and is distracting for sure. I covered the light with some masks I had laying around 2020 and this is the perfect amount of extra diffusion I needed.

Good detail lights for close range, not very effective past 2 meters unless the room is very dim. Can be useful even for professionals just to cast faint a color fill. I guess most people are getting these to improve their COVID webcam setup, for that I think this is deal is hard to beat.Just dont plug these into your computer, the current drain can exceed 250mAh which is the limit for USB2.0 specification, dont risk your expensive stuff just for that and use a generic wall charger instead.

The lights themselves are decent for what I need them for. The monopods and feet are very cheap. Most likely designed for indoor use, and probably for desktoptabletop heights, they have their limitations but they serve that purpose. I wound up buying aftermarket monopods to upgrade these for my needs. Now Im really happy with them, but I might try to find a battery powered self contained light. If youre planning on keeping them for inside use then youre golden.

I used to use photography lights with traditional bulbs and they get SO HOT.Bright LED lights for UNDER 40 Take my money Great uses for photographyvideography and USB power is a convenience if youre somewhere without a power outlet but have USB battery chargers instead.
