I needed something for a light setup I intend to leave in a studio Im working in so I dont need to bring my lights every time to set up. Already had some 500Watt tungsten bulbs in an Impact light fixture, so figured this with an umbrella holder would be good to soften the light, and it does a decent job. Not as fancy or controlled as a softbox, but for the price this is great place to get basic diffusion.

The tripods are very flimsy and the lights dont offer much in terms of scaling up or down on brightness. Id skip. If you just need the flat light, proceed with caution.
