After six months both of ours are yellowed at the base near the connecting screw sounds like others are experiencing this. The suction cups do let got after awhile both on iMac and Dell monitors. We solved this with flexible mini tripods holding the lights to top of the monitors. Not sure if replacement diffusers are available, would purchase if they were. Otherwise a nice little light that does a good job both in sidelight situations e.g. a bright window as well as lowlight rooms.
