I purchased the black version of this lamp, it arrived well packaged, a little too much packaging actually, lots of polystyrene that cant be recycled and left a mess all over the floor, ahh well .The lamp sections screwed together quickly and looks great, it has a decent build quality to it, the base is a good weight but could do with being slightly wider so its not as easy to knock over.The flex can get caught up under the base , there is a spacetrack provided for the flex on the base but it does not sit in it.The bulb needed is a E27, I recommend using a downlight bulb such as the Philips downlighter E27.
