This is not cheap, but does what it promises, if you want RGB goodness then this is the controller to go for. I connected everything up to it, and it just works. iCUE is refined enough now not to have the issues that many used to have just see on the forums. I paired the Commander Pro up with the LED lighting thats in the case, but also a WS2812B strip that I bought on Ali and it still works perfectly. Use an NXZT USB 2.0 hub if youre struggling for internal USB 2.0 ports. Its cheap and cheerful and connects well.

I had to send the first one I ordered back as it developed a fault where sometimes the motion sensor would not activate. This actually turned out to be a fault with the light sensor, which would randomly think it was too light to need the light to switch on. I suspect this fault may be due to poor battery connections contacts not pressing tight enough, so it may be worth checking this if you have odd issues with your sensor.However, the replacement dispatched by Radiant Roost has been working 100 reliably over the last few months. I have mine in the hall so the light comes on only at night. It has always activated reliably and is even sensitive enough to detect as you walk down the stairs from the landing.I think the only negative point is the price, as other similar units cost at least a third less. Then again a lot of the Philips Hue range is a little overpriced by comparison to the competition but a bit like Apple you pay the price for a reliable and easy to use product.

Ive had a chance to use this product on one video shoot thus far. It worked quite well to create some dynamic lighting. The light output could probably be beat by competing products, but for the money I felt the output and build quality was very good. Have not had a chance to use the remote yet.
