Philips Hue White Ambiance E27 is pretty capable, however it is not completely compatible with older Hue White lights.I mixed few older E27 white lights with new white ambiance lights in my apartment unfortunately they do not work equal and it is difficult to use them together with one dimmer switch. There are some scenes which are not available on dimmer switch. I could still configure lighting with my mobile phone, but I wish to manage them with dimmer switch.Also if you like dimmed orange light in comparison price for Hue color lights is just a little higher and you get more flexible configuration.

I like the amount of light. It was easy to mount. The challenge is that it is sensitive. It is located in my sun room so it turns on when walking by from a distance of 68 feet. It is not a big deal but just be aware that the mechanism does pickup movement from a distance away.

my son installed the fan as he is a electrician. unfortunately it did not work, when tested it had a wireing fault and we sent it back. the replacement tested and worked fine. Very pleased.
