Perfect. We use this to trigger the smart lights on the landing when anyone tries to walk to the toilet.

I love the light, it is bright and works well. For my installation, the suction cup would not work on either a laptop or on a wide s screen monitor. After the suction failed and the light fell three times, I stopped using the suction cup and bought a small tripod for there light. Again, happy with the light but not the suction cup.
