I have to say, having read the other review about fitting being a nightmare, I was nearly put off buying these lamps. I bought two however, one for either side of our porch. I dont know if they have changed the design but I found them very easy to put up indeed. It took just over half and hour to put them both up. Wiring was very easy indeed. They are a nice quality item, metal rather than plastic unlike the plastic lamps they replaced. Being aluminium they will not rust. The individual glass panes are held in securely with small screw down clips so no chance of them accidentally falling out a nice touch. The lights are not enclosed, being open at the bottom, so changing bulbs means just that no dismantling the shade each time one needs replaced. The bulbs are nice and high up in the shade though, so out of harms way and the weathers.
