   HintergrundNach dem Kauf einer Corsair Tastatur gab es Probleme zwischen iCUE Corsair Software und der Motherboard BeleuchtungsSoftware Mystic Light.Als Lsung wurde das Lightning Node Pro und zwei ARGB auf Corsair Adapter bestellt.So konnte die iCUE Software fr alle Lfter und LED Strips im Gehuse genutzt werden.Lightning Node ProEignet sich auch fr nicht Corsair ProdukteIch nutze z.B. einen eloop Noiseblocker mit LEDs und zwei Phanteks LED Strip Neon problemlos mit dem Lightning Node Pro mit Adapter.Fr den Phanteks stellt man einfach ein das 5 LED Strips angeschlossen sind, dann werden beide Teile komplett bis zur letzten LED beleuchtet.Die Installation ist denkbar einfach. Plug Play. Zwei kleine Streifen doppelseitiges Klebeband zur Befestigung der Steuereinheit im Gehuse liegen bei.Weiterhin gibt es noch extra Verlngerungskabel mit dazu.Die Steuerung ber iCUE fllt mir aufgrund der vorherigen Nutzung der Tastatur und eines Headset leicht. Ich finde die Bedienung zur Einstellung der Beleuchtung durchaus intuitiv. Nur die Einstellungsoptionen knnten generell etwas besser beschrieben sein.StripsDie beiliegenden LED Strips finde ich nicht besonders gut. Den Lichteffekt des Phanteks finde ich um Welten besser.Trotzdem habe ich sie mal in Betrieb genommen. Es sind typische LED Strip, mit Klebeflche und Magneten zur Installation im Gehuse.iCUEBisher gibt es einiges an Kritik an der Software. Ich finde sie durchaus gelungen und es gibt immer mal wieder Updates.FazitFr mich die perfekte Lsung meines Problems.Ich bin zufrieden, finde allerdings den Preis fr diese kleine 2Ch Box mit den vier LED Streifen etwas berzogen.

   Time will tell how well this softbox holds up, but for the price and what it does, Im happy with it. I just received it today and set it up. Unfolding was easy, but folding back up was a bit of a learning curve. You basically have to twist the heck out of it as you fold it back up. It feels like youre going to damage the supports inside, but its a lot like collapsible reflectors but more twisting. I chose not to use the small interior diffuser to soften any hotspots because I need all of the light I can get from my speedlight. The diffuser isnt really necessary as the outer, larger diffuser works just fine. Im getting an f8 setting at iso 100 from about five feet away. This works well for outside, fullsun fill flash. This softbox is a great bargain. I will report back in the future if I have any issues with it.

   I found the product excellent for my specific requirements videoconferencing illumination on my 27 iMac. Plenty of illumination with ability to change colour temperature and brightness. Reasonably robust build. The suctioncup mount is OK, but I used the supplied supplementary adhesive disks as this is a permanent setup. Initially I had one unit mounted directly above the screen, but bought a second and mounted the units to the sides of the screen avoids glare when looking into the camera and reduces shadows. Correctly positioned this arrangement also allows the units to be folded away out of sight when not in use. Generally only needed to use around 25 brightness which allows around 2.5 hours use on a single charge but they will also operate while charging via USB.With the adhesive discs the mounts have stayed firmly attached to the matt silver curved iMac housing, but if you want to use them regularly on a laptop for short periods while mobile then youll have to rely on the suction cups, which need a flat, smooth surface. If I was doing this Id look for a clipon mount from SmallRig or similar.
