I use this in my shed where I have a plug socket but no overhead light clipped onto the top level of a shelving unit it works a treat.

These stands are great. For my needs moving the entire HTC play area between 2 different rooms this is a great solution. The only thing I would point out is that if you have tall ceilings, you may want to look around. If your play area has normal ceiling height, I recommend these.
