I have a set of LL120 RGB fans that I wanted to use to the fullest extent and found that even with the Lighting Node Pro provided, control over the fans and everything was kind of possible, but was not easy. So I broke down and bought this item.1. Whats in the box You receive the controller, plus the usual warnings and stuff, plus four temperature probes, 4 extensions, a hub for plugging into the light for control and some sticky pads.2. Setup First off, the instructions stink. They show in multiple languages and if you dont know how it really goes, i recommend getting on the net and looking at the videos that are out there. Alsmot a requirement, and Corsair would be wise to put this in the instructions I kinda understand why they dont endorse this as a builders rio could go bad and then some might go after Corsair. However, it is pretty much plug and play. 4 pins go to power, 3 pins can got to power as well, you plug in the LED into the USB port and give this thing SATA power and you are almost there. After that you need to download the Corsair ICUE software and this should be recognized. If you are using this item, you should easily be able to figure out the ways to get this working once the hardware is correctly put in. I love the fans, the ways in which this becomes easier to program, including speed. I love the ability to make a curve as well for speeds versus temperatures with all kinds of options. The real quibble is the cost of the thing, but you are paying 50 plus dollars for a mini computer to control all the bells and whistles. But, after getting installation done, it is very cool to have those nice LEDs going crazy. A complete build would require this with Corsair and I am partial since I have all kinds of Corsair stuff including the tower that this sits in
