It is not for nothing that this lamp is one of the absolute highlights among the design classics. Its beautiful and absolutely timeless. No matter which furnishing style you have, it fits in perfectly everywhere. Im afraid the price is pretty steep.

This stylish floor lamp suited our needs perfectly. We bought 2 to flank each end of a couch and installed only 40W bulbs in them. The light is focused and output is great for reading and knitting. Simple design. The mast is fixed and does not adjust up and down, but the head swivels with minimum range. Floor switch is on the cord. Reaching down to turn it on and off can be awkward or easy to use your foot too.

I am a pianist and needed a new lamp that would shed light from behind me when I play hence I needed an adjustable floorlamp, something in black. This wonderful lamp is perfect. It is extremely practical and functional, easy to move yet sturdy, UNtippy, and yet not uncomfortably heavy to move. In other words, it is wonderfully welldesigned. It does everything I need it to do including being beautiful, sedately gorgeous not announcing its presence in a garish way. It is splendid I am exceedingly pleased.
