Overall pretty good nightlight with a clear temperature indicator that can easily be seen from the hallway, which is fairly accurate.Above 16 degrees it is a lovely soft orange colour, useful to see around the room when your eyes have adjusted. However the blue light below 16 degrees is too bright.The real problem though is the switch between colours at 16 degrees. Often the light jumps between the two colours causing a distraction for baby and waking them as they doze.We still use it but now heat at 16.5 degrees all the time to avoid the aforementioned issue. This might not be suitable for all homes.As this is plug in only, batteries are irrelevant.
