I literally googled how to install a light, and then did this, so installing the light is relatively idiotproof. I got this one specifically because I needed to illuminate an area with a freakishly low ceiling, and its low profile fits perfectly. The option to change the color tone of the light is also great.That said This light is crazy bright. Its like turning on an actual sun in my laundry room.

The Mr.Beams MB980 is an excellent solution for difficult lighting challenges. Our kitchen pantry closet is too dark and my son, an electrician who can snake cables anywhere, was struggling with how to run wiring for a light without major sheetrock work. Enter the Mr.Beams MB980 problem solved.Also, David at Mr.Beams kindly provided a PDF photo showing how to remove the light sensor if the device is installed in an area that has some ambient light which may prevent the light from coming on. Our kitchen lights are frequently on but the closet is still dark, the same applies for the shower. Following the instructions, the change took only a moment and these lights work perfectly. If you use the MB980 in dark areas, no change is needed.Im very pleased with the product and expect to be purchasing more in the future.
