We have a windowless garage and while we do have an overhead light, there is only one switch next to the door into the laundry room. We got the Mr. Beams light to put next to the door leading to the side yard for those times when we entered that way after dark. While it did work, the battery consumption was extraordinary. We found it to be more cost effective to have an electrician put in an extra switch than to keep buying batteries.

Philips were problematic with their previous colour GU10s because the size wouldnt fit into a normal recessed unit, only really in track spotlights. The older ones were more powerful which is why I got the older modeL for my kitchen.Ive not used them with bluetooth, which has a separate app and a limit of ten bulbs were onto our second hub to cope with the distance from the house. Great bulbs
