I find that when it comes to change light bulbs it is frequently quite difficult to get them out, and Ive had them break and leave the metal cap in place with the glass bulb in my hand. Then the plastic screw sleeve that holds the shade in place seems to get brittle and refuses to undo, making changing a bulb a lot more difficult than it should be. I decided the problem was probably down to the cheap pendant light fittings Ive bought in the past, so having had no problems with a load of MK sockets I installed three decades ago, I thought Id try an MK light fitting and see if it fares any better. The plastic cable grip was the only irritation while fitting it. Its loose and doesnt seem to do much except get in the way by making an easy wiring job a little more difficult. Still Ill have to wait until Ive run through a few bulbs before I know if it was worth about four times the price I normally pay. But I equate MK with quality so Im hopeful.

Love this lamp. It is in the corner of my room and overlooks the back of my sofa. It looks very modern and isnt too heavy. You can angle the head anysuch way. The light bulb is a small screw type light not sure what its called and it works really well with a colour changing LED bulb.
