Its difficult to give a negative review for this product which for not very much money provides 12 strings of 20 LED lights complete with batteries.Each string has a corkshaped battery case which is designed to be places in a bottle. The lights are controlled by a pushbutton on the top of the cork so that it can easily be operated when in situ. The cream lights have three settings off, flashing, or on continuously.Nothing really to fault here. Five stars.

Bought this to illuminate steps up to house previous cheep solar lights ive tried didnt build or hold enough charge in this partially shaded location, looked not so attractive , and failed relatively quickly. Also we live in an unlighted village so worry about light pollution.The reviews for these were good and i liked the idea of flame effect.Had for about a month now and so far very pleased they look very realistic when lit and cast just the right amount of warm light for purpose. Also look quite good during day unobtrusive architectural.The switch on the post is well located …as i dont want them on all the time at night and i only have 2 either side of the steps i just take a second to turn both on as Im walking to car if i know Im coming back after dark, and then they switch on at sunset and are there lighting the way when Im home as the porch light is activated by the time i reach the solar lights its just a moment to turn them off again on my way up the steps so minimising light pollution ….not that they cause much anyway with their subdued warm firelight effect.Great buy….may buy more later …havent rated longevity obviously at this point but all the other reviews were positive and showed only 2 with short life issues unlike 75 of others ive tried and it looked like those were replaced under the warranty …suspect this has something to do with their high water resistance rating.Im likely to buy more for other parts of garden for the autumn
