Im editing my review as the lights finally came on after days of waiting. I guess they just needed more sunlight to charge. The negative thing is they are very dull in brightness. I would need more to get any sort of seeing light in the garden. But I can confidently say it is definitely waterproof I left it out in heavy rain and it still works.

Wanted the effect in the picture, but the bulbs are tiny and stretched them a out 12 feet across the length of the garage. Theyll do, but really needed something twice the size to go across a not very wide garden

Working out at 4 each, they are excellent value for money and provide an amazing amount of light. I have the fixed to the fence across the back of my garden and they produce an fanned arc of light that reaches the grass. They look professional when lit which i did not expect.
