I was most worried about the length of lead supplied as this was for my mother and would sit on a shelf, not a desk. In the end it was more than adequate I tacked some to the wall and also used a cabletidy for the surplus.I first considered this because I already have a floor light, which has been commented on favourably as it gives good reading light for the whole of the top of a double bed.Some have said these lights are ugly. They could be described as a bit clunky, perhaps, but this is hardly a problem.In all, an excellent light giving brightness over a large area. Very good buy for the price.
