   Hitting middle age, I started to struggle with reading at night, which is a prt of my routine I really enjoy. My fancy bedside lights just werent throwing out enough light and I was thinking of reading glasses. But having seen other reviews I purchased this lamp and now it floods the room with great light so I can happily read before going to sleep. Yes, its a bit ugly but its worth the trade off.

   Its ok. I thought it would be bigger but in the end its fine. The main issue is the switch which is located next to the plug rather than next to the lamp. Other than that, Im happy with it
