Ive placed one of these outside on a windowledge i.e. freestanding, and not fixed on to a wall and it has withstood the heavy wind and rains of the past few weeks. Excellent light coverage.

The bulbs are great. Ive got a few of the older type, which are a lot larger and have a more limited colour output especially around the greenblue area. The new bulbs fix everything that was wrong with the old ones they are brighter, standard size and have a full spectrum output like the richer colours range.
