These are very classy looking ceiling roses. I bought two, one each for a family members childrens bedrooms. I have just ordered another black chrome as it looks so amazing as does the antique copper. What I like especially about them is that they are already made up, so there are no separates to order e.g. cable, light socket at the end of the cable etc. I have given 5 stars above for installation but I am no installer of light fittings, but it does look easy and straight forwards enoughThe Lyte company certainly have a panache for choosing nice looking ceiling fixtures, so I am likely to be a return customer. Thank you

Die myLiving LED Deckenleuchte wird erfreulicherweise gleich mit Schrauben und Dbeln geliefert. Fr die Bedienungsanleitung braucht man aber dafr schon eine Lupe, da die Schrift so klein ist. Vom Material her ist die Frisbee aus total leichtem Plastik. Nur der Deckel, der an die Decke montiert wird, ist aus sehr leichtem Metallblech. Das Licht empfinde ich als relativ hell. Die Leuchtdauer betrgt ca. 40 Sekunden. Den Bewegungsmelder kann man aber nicht weiter einstellen. Mir persnlich wrde die Lampe nicht nur an der Decke gefallen, sondern mehr an Seitenwnden. Das Design empfinde ich als schlicht und doch hat es in Verbindung mit dem Licht eine besondere Ausstrahlung. Von mir gibt es deshalb 4 Sterne. Wrde nicht Philips auf der Verpackung stehen, wrde es glatt als IkeaProdukt durchgehen.

If you have looked into these bulbs before, you probably noticed that the previous versions were over 7cm tall and didnt fit into normal light fittings which was a real pain so either you had to replace all your light fittings with bigger cages or use the cageless fittings either way it meant messing around with the ceiling and potentially breaking big chunks of it off trying to get the old cages outs or paying an electrician to do it for you.These new bulbs are only 5.8cm tall THE SAME SIZE AS A NORMAL GU10 so forget the sparky or broken ceiling these are a straight swap for your current bulbs now is the time to buy them Sadly I paid over 500 for a sparky to replace half the light cages in our apartment a month ago so hopefully my all caps above might save someone else a few hundred quidThe bulbs produce a better, brighter colour than the previous version they have a much larger plastic lense surface area to disperse the light and a new complex shape design probably to help heat disbursement for the new smaller shape bulb see photo, they still have a broad range from warm white to a cool daylight white, and are configurable with 16 million different colours. These also have Bluetooth builtin so that you can access each light via Bluetooth independently if you dont have the Hue Bridge why you would want to do this is a mystery buy the Philips Bridge it will save you a lot of hassle.The Bluetooth helps with the mesh apparently, effectively keeping all the lights connected to each other but really the reason to buy these is the new size.One thing to note as you will see from the photo the lense on the new bulbs is a little convex, whereas the previous model was concave just to be aware if you have flush bulb cover fittings.Be careful when not purchasing from Philips via Radiant Roost as you might end up with the previous model. These were released in late September 2019.

I live in the middle of the rural countryside and i have no street lights so when i come home i am always stumbling to find my keys in the dark. I have a storm porch so i just screwed this to the ceiling.A few things, the included screws are absolute garbage, i used a manual philips head screwdriver and the heads just stripped and i had to use a screw extractor to get it out. Once i used my own screws it was easy.You unscrew the round base plate and screw with 4 screws. Then on the underside of the base unit is a plastic screw, you take this out and unlock the unit to insert the batteries. There is a small plastic insert that you can take out if you want to turn the sensor off.The light came on easily and goes off after 20 seconds. The motion sensor only works in the dark, if there is any ambient light close to the unit the sensor wont go off.I had to buy 4 D batteries to test this, i got Duracell ones which cost me just over 7 pounds so you need to factor that into your costs. I do not expect the batteries to run out before a year has passed but if they do i will update my review.
