After major disappointment with the light of a smaller flexible lamp I went for this as a lamp for when I read at night. It is very good, extremely easy to set up, the light is VERY bright which is good.My only problem with it is how huge and ugly it is. It looks like something I would expect to find in a hospital. Also from the photos I did not think it would be THAT big. Nevertheless it does its job admirably,
