These are a great idea, they fit in a bottle without having a huge battery pack sticking out the top or trailing around the base. They are on wire with the little led encased in glass so they are waterproof, not the battery pack though. The thing Ive found with mine are that they dont last long at all. 2 night max. Whether the batteries are cheep ones or not. There are three batteries and in tesco a descent brand was over a fiver for 4I do like these little lights, they are bright, at first, and look great in a bottle but I wouldnt buy them again
