I bought this fan after much research for my conservatory. It is a well made product which does the job very well, it come complete with remote control with three speeds. It is reversible for summerwinter use by flicking a switch on the side of the fan. It doesnt come with lamps but I fitted LED lamps which fitted perfectly. I found the fan easy to assemble and fit,PS I bought the separate long rod extension to extend the fan down as I fixed it in the apex of my conservatory.

This is howI solved this problem by modifying the units photocell which is located beneath the semitransparent dome. Invert the unit on a soft cloth so as not to scratch the lens. Remove the guts of the unit by carefully releasing each of the four snap clips, adjacent to the batteries. This in effect removes the exterior case from the batteries and circuit board.If you examine the circuit board, you will notice two components that sit below the milky dome. One is the circular motion detector and it has a small square window. The other adjacent component is the photocell which detects the ambient light level. It sits closer to the circuit board with a back and forth grid like element on its top.This photocell must be completely isolated from receiving any light. Using black vinyl electrical tape, I cut small pieces of tape and placed them around the bottom of the photocell to cut off any light passing up through the circuit board and reaching the sensor. I even slid a small piece below the photocell, between its two leads just to be sure. Next I fashioned a small cylinder of tape just large enough to fit around the photocell. After closing off one end, I slid it over the photocell, kind of like a little hat and secured it into place.Technically the photocell will now present only a small resistance to the circuit even in bright light. Assemble the unit taking care to position the milky dome back over the motion sensor and the photocell.Mine now triggers on perfectly regardless of the ambient light in the bathroom when I stand in the bathtub to take a shower.I just followed his instructions and in a few minutes I had the light for my shower I needed. So was looking to replace the four spotlights currently in my wood panel ceiling with one or two lights after replacing the wooden panel with a plasterboard ceiling. So often when you see pictures of flat lights the actual depth is often a lot deaper when you check out the actual dimensions,not so with these .They come in at 1 inch deep.My room measures 4 X 4.5m , was going for one center light but settled for two as being led not sure how mutch light they would actually give out ,need not have worried they are bright even at the warm white setting ,they are also incredible easy to fit if you have the single patrass box as the light backplate screws right onto this ,then connect the two wires and fit the light with a twisting motion,the simplest and quickest installation ever. When the light comes on it gives the impression of the light coming down a tube in the ceiling,all plastic but I had these on and of the fitting several times while I worked on without any problem. The only thing I cannot comment on is the lifespan of the unit,fingers crossed for that.
