After struggling with standard lamps to read, I got fed up a few days ago and bought one of these based on the good reviews. I am beating myself up now about this why didnt I buy one before Im a historian, and so I spend many hours of the day reading and writing. With my eyesight already defective, things were just getting worse. I received my light about an hour ago and have been reading, writing with MUCH more ease and I even feel better I get a little sad in winter with no sun. This brightens my room considerably, and I can see myself becoming more productive simply because I can see so much better now.

This lamp is amazing.It comes fully assembled and feels really sturdy.You tap the dogs head to change the brightness which has a few different levels of light.You can change the position if you wish to and have the dog figure sitting down or standing up.It looks brilliant and is made of genuine wood.It was a great gift and would definitely buy again
