This is a good light and makes a nice upwards glow. The only draw back is it get very hot when its on so, if you have it on a carpet, put something underneath it that is heat proof.

I love it. For a small amount of money you can completely transform any room in the house. A nice change from fairy lights and candles. I bought a pair of these to use as bedside lamps that would clip onto the headboard. Clips are good and strong. Brightness of lamps can be adjusted, which is very nice, as can colour temperature. Light has a sharp cutoff so can be aimed away from sleeping partner. If I had to have a complaint, they are a little blingy.
