this looks better when its up than it does in the photo. would recommend using a qualified electrician as in my case I was told I needed earthing whatever that is. Mine is straight on the ceiling as the ceiling is relatively low. It gives off a lovely soft subdued light and in the recent hot weather the fan was marvellous 3 settings all of which were reasonably quiet you should be able to sleep with it on. great item and I am well pleased.

Die Leuchte fr sich ist schn, solide gebaut und macht einen guten Eindruck und vor allen Dingen ein Angenehmes Licht, wre da nicht der berhmte clickMechnismus der die Montage erleichter. An sich eine gute Sache. Ich habe drei von diesen Leuchten bei mir verbaut und zwei muten getauscht werden, der der clickMechnismus defekt war soll heissen, die Feder auf der einen Seite war nicht vorhanden. PHILIPS Ihr habt ein Qualitts KontrollProblem Bei der 4flammigen Lichtleiste htte ich mit statt 4 Befestigungsborungen bei der Lnge 6 Bohrungen gewnscht. Glcklicherweise ist ein Austausch bei Radiant Roost kein Problem.

All very easy to install etc but low level of brightness. Not quite as bright as you are led to believe in the write up and pictures. so not a security light, more like a lighting aid if you have a dark spot around your house.
