I installed the light in a 10×12 storage shed and it is perfect. For my use the light comes on when I close the door even if the sun is out outside and there are 2 vents on the walls. For me it worked even though it was not totally dark.

Needed a light outside the front door but no access to mains. This ceiling light was the ideal solution and its sensitive PIR ensures the light comes on as you approach. No more fiddling in the dark to put the key in the lock as light is more than adequate. Can fully recommend it
