The first thing I unwrapped was the stand, the first thing I smelled was wood, real wood, hardy wood. Nice sturdy platform as the base, hardware is handsome. The lamp is carefully wrapped. Are there instructions anywhere, well No, but just follow along the photos and youll figure it out. I kept looking for the bracket to attach light to the base, and its the handle looking piece with a small hole in it. Just take the bolt off the base attach the handle to it screw it in tightly. The light figure swivels to the right or left, any direction you need. I used a specialty pink LED bulb for special affects, so its not the pictures. I may change it to a brighter light, but at night I like a softer light thats not so straining. Wow, I may purchase another fixture. its so over the top features are A E.N.J.O.Y.
