Good value, only in aluminium

well, i would NOT normally bother to do this. After much research, i thought id get one of these lamp, very good price. The assembly process is tricky with cables having to be folded back up through the main centre. Not a very good design.The light quality is excellent. The design is a bit clunky, looks great in the pictures but on a home desk, it does look a bit overpowering.

Purchased to replace a dead bulb.Fits socket okay, however, does not seem to generate the same heat as the original bulb as often just left with clumps of wax, rather than the floating bubbles effect of a lava lamp.
