Great quality lamp base in natural wood. I wanted a taller tripod stand than the majority on the market and this fits the bill. UK plug fitting and E27 screw fit bulb fitting. Standard lamp shade fit no problem I went for a cotton drum shade in cream.

Ok so all ceiling roses are the same arent they It seems not I thought a quick install would be to unscrew old cover and replace with this one, sadly the screw thread was different, so had to unscrew old one and fully replace. Not a show stopper but took longer than expected. The brass screws were incredibly tight too, I bent the fiat blade screwdriver I used from my wifes sewing machine She wasnt very happy. Bought new flat blade and gripped very hard to unscrew. All fitted now and secure.
