Unfortunately, this item arrived with a cracked component in the electric box where the wires attach. This means it couldnt be tightened effectively.May be worth checking this component before you progress to trying to put it up.

Perfect. Not much else can be said. Use the red clip to shorten the length of the wire to bring closer to ceiling.
