So close yet so far from a great product. The software is great and it really makes lighting up a PC easy and choosing how it lights up easy. The install process is very easy and makes wiring very easy and neat with a slim profile. But functionality is just gone. I have 6 Corsair LL fans, that is the fan with a ring of lights in the center and edge. If I bought only this controller I could light up 2 of those fans. That would mean I need 3 for my PC. Well you can make this use more if you have a Corsair RGB LED Fan HUB, this fan hub allows the connection of 6 fans. GREAT, except no there is a limit to LEDs on a wire and not fans on a wire. Since there are many LEDs in 6 LL fans you get 12 way, thats 2.5 Fans lit up, yes 1 fan is half lit up. But that is all on 1 port of the 2 so if you wanted I guess you can have 3.5. fans, still a problem and I have LED RGB lights that connect to that port so I have 3 lights and 2.5 fans. With LED fans you can use the LED node and get 2 more channels for 2 more fans, but that is still 1.5 off from utilization of my Corsair case. I would have to buy another 55 just to get 2 fans to work and I would not be able to use the lights that come with it. So in reality it cost like 220 to get 6 fans working, without the cost of the fans.
