This lamp is almost surprisingly ugly the kindest thing you could say would be industrial chic, but in fact it just reminds me of all the depressingly utilitarian, beige, plastic objects of my childhood. It also seems to pick up dirt easily, and look a bit scruffy. But it does exactly what it claims, throwing an agreeable pool of light which is very easy on the eyes, excellent to work in, and, as far as I can tell it still being dull autumn daylight outside without that bluish coldness I associate with most daylight lamps. And it is simple to put together, requiring no tools of any kind. So, as long as you dont want a beautiful object on your desk, I recommend it quite highly.

It is a nice looking light but the built in PIR is very poor and you would be better off just getting a normal light and use a standalone good PIR sensor.
