   I use this in my shed. It comes on from low light and motion and goes off when you leave. It should be very useful in the winter when I add gas to the snow thrower or need to find something. Mounting was easy. It requires three C cell batteries.

   This is the second pack of bulbs I have which I use in the living room. I like these as you can set the mood in the room with theseI like turning them on as I am getting ready to go in especially connecting them to the hub. Turns them on from anywhere with a connection to the Web. Whether watching film or winding down after a busy day you have the option of certain already set light modes or make up your own with over 16 million colours per bulb the options are almost endless.

   We have a very dark closet in our hallway that needed some light in it. The thought of running wire, boxes and messing with drywall made me cringe so I searched for alternatives. There were a few other well reviewed options on Radiant Roost but people seemed disappointed with the amount of light output. This was the only one that quantified the light output of 100 lumens which is pretty good for a battery powered LED light.Installation is very easy. Be aware that this light takes 4 C cell batteries. Thankfully I had some on hand. The batteries make the unit too heavy for mounting tape…velcro might be okay. However I opted for the supplied screws and anchors. This makes me confident the light wont come crashing down on my head.Now for the bad. Because the light uses a fisheye type of lens to distribute the light it causes a strange prism effect. The light itself is white but at the edges the lens causes it to be yellow. I uploaded a picture to show what Im talking about. Its not the end of the world but its not something I expected.Beyond this small hiccup the light works great. It comes on when the door is opened turning off about 30 seconds later. Given the choice between this and a wired light alternative Ill take this one all day. It only took 10 minutes to install. Thats much nicer than cutting drywall, running wire, mounting a new light, patching, mudding, sanding and painting. UPDATE Soon after installing the light it seemed to be constantly on. A few test revealed it would come on as soon as it turned off. This was due to some older batteries I used. Replacing the batteries with new ones returned it to normal operation. It also made me realize just how bright the light actually is. With newer batteries its about twice as bright as before which is great. It still has the strange prism effect, but lights up the closet even better now. So if your light is acting strange, try replacing the batteries to see if it fixes the issue, it did for me.
